Hip Hop Helps
HopeDealersGR has teamed up with grhiphop.org and the Hip Hop Association of Advancement and Education for the Hip Hop Helps program. Hip Hop Helps is an ongoing series of events designed to raise money or accept donated food and/or goods for individuals, families, or people groups in immediate need.
The Hip Hop Helps program began when HopeDealersGR crew member, 88, asked the crew for food donations that a group of his students were seeking to donate to the families served by Well House. The crew quickly responded with the idea to host a food drive 3 days later. The very first Hip Hop Helps FOOD DRIVE was held on 11/18/2021 in which nearly 20 turkeys, cornish hens, and boxes and boxes of non perishable goods were gathered for Well House.
Next up, the Hip Hop Helps TOY DRIVE on 12/18/2021 in which the HopeDealersGR along with a dope team of hiphoppas are asking Grand Rapids residents to donate toys for kids ages 5-12 and/or grocery gift cards for families. All donations will go to the families served by the Boys and Girls Club of Grand Rapids, MI.
